Beatbox Courses (Schools) 

Here at Beatz Inc Music, our courses ranges from 4 weeks, 6 weeks, 8 weeks and 10 weeks. Not only do we teach the sounds utilized in beatboxing, we also teach them the moral values that stems from the beginning of the art of Beatbox, which is in line with the Desired Learning Outcomes and General Music Syllabus of the Ministry of Education here in Singapore. The course is suitable for schools (special needs included).

Primary School

  • NAC-AEP approved programme

  • MOE registered instructor 

  • 4-10 weeks course (30 min to 1 hour) 

  • Suitable from ages 7 to 13

 

What students will be learning: 

 

  • Basic Beatboxing sounds 

  • Understanding Standard Beatbox Notation (see FAQ)

  • Time signature, simple rhythm 

  • Special effects 

  • Beat Creation 

  • Moral values such as Social-awareness, strength and weaknesses, Confidence, Perseverance 

 

The teachers can also opt for: 

 

  • Preparation of students for assembly performance

  • Grading of students for their skill competency in Beatboxing

Secondary School

  • NAC-AEP approved programme

  • MOE registered instructor

  • 4 - 10 weeks course (30 min to 1 hour) 

  • Suitable from ages 13-18

 

What students will be learning : 

 

  • Basic Beatboxing sounds

  • Time signature, complex rhythm 

  • Understanding Standard Beatbox Notation (see FAQ)

  • Special sound effects 

  • Own beat creation 

  • Freestyling

  • Performances tips 

  • Moral values such as taking responsibility for own learning, believe in oneself, teamwork, creativity and arts appreciation 

 

The teachers can also opt for: 

 

  • Preparation of students for assembly performance

  • Grading of students for their skill competency in Beatboxing

Tertiary (JC/ITE/Polytechnic/University)

  • Special sounds effects 

  • Own beat creation 

  • Freestyling 

  • Performance tips 

  • Battle tips 

  • Moral and social values such as Resilience, Social Responsibility, Critical Thinking, Collaboration and Teamwork

  • Preparation of students for performances/events

  • Grading of students for their skill competency in Beatboxing
